Second, the phenomenon of order describes the simple fact that at least two of the Evangelists agree almost all the time on the order of the events in the life of Jesus. An example may be observed by beginning at Matt. 17:22–23; Mark 9:30–32; Luke 9:43b–45. The next event is found only in Matthew (17:24–27).
